Nice podcast….
How the hell does Sata let Bullwinkle on the bridge, let alone on board the ship?!?!?!
Bro, you are asking for a Warp Core Breach!!!
It’s cool, Rocky took away the anti-matter injectors. Plus, as a talking rodent, he’s naturally immune to atom bombs.
Andy Dick is a mistake no matter how good you think your shields are.
I disagree that older NES+ users think of crafting as taking out necromancers til we have 20 amulets so that we can turn them in for the elven key. I think of crafting as using recipes to make a tricorder with greater scanning range, or increasing my shield’s recharge time. I definitely used an NES in 1988.
You can respec, I think it’s safe to give your first “gimped” character the pre-order item.
I’m looking for Wolf 359 to have a memorial at the site of the battle. Possibly a big silver statue of an Ambassador class, full size so that the names of every Federation citizen who died in that battle can be inscribed on the base.
We knew about Klingon PvE lack, but it was a confirmation that was gained. The yelling was previously over speculation, this was a direct quote from one Daniel Stahl.
3 complete games? PvE UFP, PvP Klingons, and ground combat? Hmmm.
I didn’t hang well in the Klingon ‘konversation’. Simply don’t care enough. I wish I could have gotten some of the head guys from these Klingon guilds to come on, but such is life. As far as Dan Stahl, I’ve learned that when there is smoke, there is fire. It’s that simple. I’ve been around gaming too long, to have to wait for ‘confirmation’. No offense to anyone, but if you didn’t see it coming or were too stubborn to believe it…-shrugs. No one needed to confirm anything to this podcaster, just saying.
Maybe,
You could do a follow up show on the subject with the Blood of Kahless Clan or even the International Brotherhood of Klingon Warriors (Yes, the IBKW does exist…Google It).
I find nothing wrong, your show your feelings. No excuses. GO SATA!!!!
nice podcast
I disagree with your stance on Klingon PvP being cannon. While they didn’t cover a ton of culture in the TV shows it’s becaue it was a TV show (production budgets). I believe that the Klink shows on DS9 were some of the highest rated ever. Besides, the blow up on the trek forums should be your first clue that a lot of folks are upset about it. I won’t go into all the reasons here. You can find my resoning in the STO forums under the same name.
Well, just for perspectives’ sake…blow up on forums isn’t a measure of anything meaningful. As stated in the show, the fact that we’re talking about it, is all Cryptic truly cares about. The 500 pound elephant in the room is, Cryptic can do whatever they wish and we’ll still buy this game. It’s that simple. If anyone disagrees with whatever they decide to do, don’t buy it. It’s a cold, harsh reality, but it is what it is. They truly(IMHO) want to make a fun game. But there will be compromises. We can list reason, after reason. In the end it doesn’t really matter, forums give a false sense of self importance.
