  1. Another excellent podcast, gentlemen and lady.

I agree, Starship Captains jumping is NOT canon, but in the practical sense…is it a bad ability to have?

I am very excited for the Fleet/Clan Management Tools that will be included. Every little bit helps.

Mines will be a critical and cruicial tactic in space skirmishes and battles. A very neat tool to use.

Also, I have recieved information that the Gorn, in ground combat, will use a tactic that is best described as a “Suicide Bomber”….

    Good stuff, overall!!!

  2. The map room on Voyager primarily occupied by 7 of 9 is astroMETRICS. Oh, there you go, you got it.

The planet Romulus was destroyed by the Hobus supernova, but lack of a homeworld doesn’t necessarily mean the Romulan Star Empire is all gone.

Star Trek was created in the shadow of the Vietnam War, and it was up against competition like Bonanza and other such shows. Fist fights were mandatory. Picard can try all he likes to chat, intimidate, and bluff his way through a fight. Star Trek was originally all about Kirk knocking someone down and then making out with his lady friend.

    wwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

  3. I agree with Toxiceye,

CAPT Kirk was always a bad ass in TOS. His charisma was galactic. CAPT Picard always used his Intellect and his Diplomatic tongue to get his ship out of sticky situations. Good Captian, but not the Ladies Man that Kirk was.

2 totally different Captains….2 totally different ways to get things done.
